Now in its fifth year (but ninth iteration because it started as a biannual gathering), the Boston Calling Music Festival is taking a step further in its new home at Harvard Athletic Complex in Allston.
After two hot days, cold temperatures and evening rains cooled on the last day of this year's meeting, but the crowds still showed up in force for headlining Eminem.
The day started with local bands - hip hop band STL GLD and indie rock band Weakened Friends. Boston-based rapper Cousin Stizz was later in the day. Indie folk rock rock backs like The Decemberists and Fleet Foxes took the stage in the evening before energy grew for R & B artist Khalid and Eminem.
